A melanistic harvest can be memorable at any trophy level. The key is to record the fur type correctly and choose a crop that shows why it matters.
What to check on a melanistic harvest
Melanistic animals have a very dark coat. Check the crop carefully, because dark detail can disappear against a dark source image.
Use the original, full-resolution harvest screen where possible. Confirm the fur field in the editable details and move the crop until the animal is easy to read at poster size.
