Who is responsible for your information

The Wild Register is responsible for customer information used through this website. Contact us about privacy at hello@thewildregister.com. The seller’s legal identity and geographic contact address are displayed at checkout and in the order confirmation.

What we collect and why

We collect the information needed to create and support an order: your name, email address, delivery address, order details, uploaded image, poster fields, messages, proof approvals and payment/order references. We use it to take payment, create and review the artwork, provide support, arrange delivery, prevent fraud and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

For real-world posters, a location can be used to build a topographic background. The location shown on the poster is controlled by your entered poster fields. Do not enter a precise location you do not want associated with the order.

Our service providers

Shopify provides checkout and customer accounts. Resend delivers transactional order emails. Our print partner receives the delivery information and only the exact approved artwork required to produce physical orders. Map lookup services may receive a location search to create a real-world topographic preview. These providers process information only as needed to provide the relevant service.

Drafts, storage and retention

Unfinished poster details can be saved in local browser storage on the device you are using. The saved draft does not include your uploaded image, and you can clear it by selecting Reset upload. Completed order artwork and records are kept only for as long as needed for order fulfilment, support, legal obligations and resolving disputes.

We do not publish your uploaded images or personalised order artwork without permission.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your personal data, and to request a portable copy. Contact us first and we will respond in accordance with applicable data-protection law. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our service or legal obligations change. The current version is always published here with its updated date.
